  • Took us by surprise really quirky but fascinating - even the teenage daughter enjoyed it! I thought I new this part of the world well but I learned so much.
  • Lots of information about the history of Dunwich and fascinating photos and accounts of lost buildings. Visit here first before walking round the village, old sites and the beach.
  • A lovely, interesting and well presented museum providing the history of the old port before it disappeared that is also child friendly - historic hats for children to try on.

  • We visited today and were warmly welcomed and informed by a very pleasant lady of the overview of the history of Dunwich. Going around the exhibits and listening to the video upstairs was both informative and enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit .. We have learned much!
  • Interesting museum explaining the history of Dunwich friendly informative staff .
  • Little museum recalls a once powerful and important harbour, long lost to coastal erosion, a medieval monastery, now a walled ruin. Not much left here but in a way, I suppose, emblematic of England. Pleasant enough.
  • It is a small museum but they have interactive things for young children to play with upstairs and both my 7 and 5 year old enjoyed it. The lady who works on the till was very helpful and informative. Worth a little look.
  • Small and cramped. Worth a quick 15 minutes if you can spare.
