  • As a collector of statuettes of little bunnies I absolutely wanted to visit the exhibition. The however, she was quite fun for children but not for adults. The exhibition is interactive (for kids). I did not come to my heart and my husband's got six bunnies of Peter Rabbit gift. Very friendly ladies in the shop!

  • Lovely volunteers and informative exhibitions for adults. Kids enjoyed the interactive stations although maybe needed a few more activities for slightly older children.  more »
  • I don’t know what i was expecting but not this. The garden is a public area open to the street where in spring and summer it would be nice to sit and while away some time. I particularly liked the sta...  more »

  • It is a very small exhibition which doesn't really merit a visit on its own. The various boards chronicles Beatrix' summer vacation spent in the local area and talks about her friendship with a relatively unknown local naturalist called Charles Mackintosh. If you are a die hard Potter fan then may be worth a visit, if not only worth visiting if you are passing by or visiting Dunkeld. Entrance fee for an adult is £3 and I feel it is overpriced judging by the overall visitor experience I had.
  • A refreshing exhibition that shows not only a detailed history of just how much time the Potter family and young Beatrix spent holidays in Dunkeld, but also shows some of of Beatrix's favourite things: sketches of mushrooms, her love of hedgehogs etc. This is a place where kids can draw freely while an older audience can walk around the exhibition plaques, posters and glass cases containing some fascinating items.
  • Messy. Bit rubbish for the price. 2 year old liked playing with the pretend shop and hanging washing up. Needs to be tidied up though. Wouldn't go back or recommend
  • Interesting, but quite expensive. Think I'd only pay for right aged kids the 6-9; or anyone interested in Beatrix Potter history. Kind of thing you'd expect free in your local library; the adult documentation good for scholars, yet superficial. Ill fitting exhibition, neither for kids nor adults; half and half so neither has great experience. Shame as seemed good on paper.
  • To be completely honest, the kids loved it here but at £12 for a family ticket there really should be a bit more. There are a few stations where the kids can draw, a kitchen, dress up area and a TV where you can watch Peter Rabbit. It's a great little place to visit and they let you come back throughout the day which is a bonus. The outside garden is free so you can enjoy the garden at anytime.
