National Trust - The Argory reviews
We visit The Argory to walk around the grounds and along the River Blackwater on a fairly regular basis.. This is nice experience all year around. If lucky, you will see Kingfishers along the... more »
We have regularly visited here over the years. We brought our children here as babies and toddlers. It's a great place for toddlers to run about! We booked another visit with the easing of lockdown... more »
Probably the most beautiful gardens and setting I've ever seen at an historic house. Covid arrangements very well managed, and staff very helpful. more »
Fantastic location for family walks and excellent tours. Our kids fell in love with the spaces and the interpretive staff made the experience very special. The cafe is top notch with an insanely decadent hot chocolate. The shop was well appointed and the play park could have entertained for hours. Best of all, a wonderful riverside walk framed our day at the Argory. We were so excited we even joined the Trust. In a country of historic homes, the Argory stands out.
What an amazing story that goes with the national trust taking this lovely property over.. Thank you Mr Bond.. Amazing tour guide and what a great house, I do love seeing some of the trusts properties being left as they found them. A must see if you're in the area
A really interesting place. Nice little bookshop in the stable yard and pleasant grounds down to the river. Our guide was passionate about the family history which helped to bring it life!
Great house and walks for all the family. Must say tour of house very good very informative to a very interesting family history. Staff super friendly ....
Must go if you are around Dungannon on a sunny day. Lovely walk up and down the river, around the House and grounds. Really good spot, well maintained and a good park for the kids.
