  • Nice park around the house and good tours given by the volunteers. Nice tea and bites in the small cafe.
  • National trust owned property - can be expensive for a family but worth the trip. House is very well kept and inside tours are very interesting. Gardens are beautiful with lonely views of the river. Great playground for children.
  • Lovely area for couples and families and singles alike.... The grounds are so peaceful for walks
  • Lovely old manor house, cosy friendly feeling. Went on the Christmas fair day and got some lovely homemade gifts. Must come back in spring.
  • Brilliant family day out with my family and 8 grandchldren for Halloween. The day was fun and relaxing. Everything was organised really well and the weather couldn't have been better. The witch was fantastic. Well done everyone involved . Thank you
