  • Great day out with friends, family or solo. Lovely walks to either keep fit or enjoy the day including taking any fur-babies! Great parks for kids. If the weather is not great there is not a lot to do...  more »
  • You approach the park having come a long way downhill from the city centre. It has an almost monumental set of (I suppose are art deco style) wrought iron gates leading to a broad walk lined with colo...  more »
  • Popped in with hubby for lunchtime snack. Lovely food in the wonderful setting of the magnificent new museum and library...spoilt by what I call 'self service huddle'. Service to table, after ordering...  more »

  • Beautiful park filled with places to stroll and relax. There are two big play parks catering to different age groups high with a good range of play equipment. There is a building in the middle of the park that houses a great area that teaches kids about the park history and wildlife with quizzes and colouring activities. They all sell cheap pocket money toys. There is also a nice cafe in the park selling tea, coffee, sandwiches, chips, ice creams and other simple lunch foods. The park is also host to many events throughout the year including one day festivals, comic cons, and fireworks night.
  • Walking a dog? Perhaps looking to get fit via a new jogging retinue? Maybe simply after a bit of fresh air with the mister or missus? Well all your prayers are answered with Pittencrieff Park. There is grass, assorted flora and fauna, various statues, an old school steam train, and even a river that runs through it! Don't miss out. Come to Pittencrieff today!
  • Pittencrieff is a beautiful Park, clean and very large and spacious. Very well maintained. It is home to lots of wildlife, most notably, lots of friendly squirrels. We also saw many different birds and insects along the way. From the main path there are many little side paths that take you to different nooks and crannies within the park. There's a stream and a small waterfall and so many stunning flowers and plants to see. There is also a large botanical greenhouse within the park grounds which features some seriously impressive cacti. Pittencrieff Park is a brilliant day out. It's perfect for families, walkers, cyclists, joggers: in fact it's ideal for anyone who enjoys spending time in a beautiful setting amongst nature.
  • Love this park for family walks with plenty to do for the kids. Great hills for a little sledging in the winter and lots of benches for chilling in the summer.
  • A good walk with my son, and they have three different play areas... really good
