  • Nice to see it being used for gig, good staff and location. Tiffany's could do with a better selection of drinks. Comfy seats, not a lot of leg room, anyone over 5"10 may not be very comfortable.
  • Beautiful theatre putting on a variety of performances. Staff are always polite and helpful. Great local venue.
  • Beginning to show its age a bit but bags of character.
  • At my girls dance show last week this place has so much character staff were great walking distance to get a bit of food in town
  • The Carnegie Hall is an arts & entertainment venue in central Dunfermline. It is regarded as one of the civic "jewels" of the town, which is the birthplace of Andrew Carnegie who endowed the Hall that bears his name. He was born into poverty and his birthplace is preserved as a museum. At a very young age Andrew emigrated to the US where he worked hard and became hugely rich from the steel industry. He was one of the richest people in the world at the time. He used his wealth to endow over 2,500 public libraries and gave away over $350m during his lifetime. His trusts are still doing good works around the world. The Dunfermline Hall is the second Carnegie Hall, the first being the Carnegie Hall in New York, Carnegie's adopted home. The Dunfermline Hall has a capacity of about 500 and hosts a varied programme of music, theatre, arts events and pantomimes. There is a bar/restaurant at the Hall - Tiffany's, named for the art-deco style of the building, which dates from 1937. Pre-theatre meals & drinks are available and interval drinks can be pre-booked. Transport links : * The Hall is a short walk from the Dunfermline Railway station. * The Hall is a short walk from the Dunfermline bus station, which has local and express bus routes. * There is a large pay & display car park at the Hall. Parking is free for evening events (check pay & display times!) * The Hall is approx 2.5 miles (4 km) from the M90 motorway for links to north and south (Edinburgh approx 15 miles, 24 km).
