  • This was just about right. Not too big that walking around became a chore and tired legs give way to fractiousness but big enough to have plenty to see and interest.
  • Great place for kids of all ages. Our children and now grandchildren love it there, and we still enjoy this little bit of countryside just on the outskirts of town. Near enough restaurants and places ...  more »
  • Brilliant day out seeing the animals and enjoying the cafe and fab park! Well worth a visit! My girls loved it

  • Lovely place to walk the dog and really good children's play park. The only downside are people who insist on parking on the grass even though there is ample parking
  • As I live only 5 minutes drive it was a pleasure to find such a sweet place in our area. The variety of animals is fantastic and the entry price was reasonable. You won't spend long there as it is small and there aren't many enclosures. The enclosures do look well past their time and need updating in order to provide optimal conditions for their animals who also look tired and unstimulated. The cafe was reasonable but a tad expensive. Over all good day though. Would recommend.
  • Not too large and not too small so it is an ideal area to take the kids without getting bored or not feeling you haven't managed to visit all the attractions. A nice selection of animals and spaces in general are large enough for the animals, except for a couple of the bird of prey enclosures. Next to Camperdown is two very large playparks, packed with a lot of equipment for kids of various ages to enjoy. The playparks are well maintained and next to toilet facilities and seating areas for families. Would recommend a day trip to the area
  • Lovely selection of animals. Was quiet when we were there so it was pleasant and peaceful ..
  • The wildlife centre is bigger than you'd think and has a good variety of animal. The cafĂ© is also worth a visit.
