  • Draycote water is a great place to enjoy traffic free running / cycling and walking. Being fairly level all the way round the reservoir makes it ideal for children as well. Approx 5 miles all the way ...  more »

  • Good place to take the family for a stroll, see the wildlife and have fun in the adventure playground, with a pleasant cafe and decent toilet facilities. Parking is reasonably priced¬†and you can also pay by card if, like me, you forgot to make sure you had change on you.
  • August '17 Lovely looking Severn Trent resavoir with sailing & fishing fishing. But no dogs around the perimeter They are allowed on the adjoining 'country park' but it is a bit limited as it doesn't appear to stretch very far. There's no way marked walking paths.. Although good for picnics and families. There are BBQ areas, kids park & loos. There's a nice looking information centre & cafe. Also a fishing shop & gutting room. Parking a bit dear with a two hour or all day tariff.
  • A great place to take exercise, bird watch, fish or just have lunch. It's about 5 miles all the way round, mostly flat. No dogs allowed.
  • Great water, caught off the bank & out in the boat . In all a good days fishing worth visiting for a days reservoir fishing. The fish fight hard & are in good condition.
  • Lovely place to visit for a nice walk, only problem is the walk around the reservoir is 8k & there are no toilets! The only facilities are at the Visitors centre at the start of the walk. There is a cafe serving very nice light lunches, cakes, scones, drinks etc.,this overlooks the water which is very pleasant. Plenty of decent parking for which there is a fee.
