  • Boring used to be better years ago get rid. Put something better on the land and food is extremely overpriced too so bring your own picnic as just a can of coke is the price of a 12 pack in Tesco lol.  more »
  • Great day out for the kids. Plenty to do! Will definitely return in summer time for more fun and would recommend to all!  more »

  • Went here as two adults and had a most fantastic time. All the animals were in good health and living cleanly and comfortably which was great to see. My favourite were the goats! There's a lot of attractions for kids but just as much fun for adults
  • I had so much fun here (I'm 28) so couldn't imagine how much fun kids would have. There are a few activities worth trying and not even really that expensive quad bikes where £5 all be it on a track it was a great day out and I would recommend this place to family's or even a group of older friends looking for a random day out.
  • What a great day we had. The staff were very friendly, the layout was great. The facilities were clean and tidy. Excellent value for money. One 5 year old girl very happy and wanting to go back. Thanks for making our weekend a great one.
  • Absolutely loved it. Theres loads to do and the majority of it is free once you're inside. The slide/rides are pretty good but only for younger kids (4-10 yrs) You need decent weather though because it's all outdoors.
  • Our family (2 adults, 2 boys 9 & 7) loved this park. We spent around 5 hours here. The farm park is very spacious so even if it was busy we didn't notice. There is so much to do. There is a clean restaurant with a good selection although you can bring your own picnic to eat outside (likely cheaper). Bathrooms were clean. Lots of areas for kids to clean their hands after touching the animals. Highly recommend.

Where to stay in Dumfries

As Dumfries is just a small city within the Dumfries and Galloway region, the city itself is somewhat limited on places to stay. You'll find a handful of mid-range to high-end hotels in the city--if you're intent on being based in Dumfries, it's best to book early to avoid disappointment. Otherwise, there are plenty of options in nearby cities and towns such as Sanquhar, Lockerbie, Auchencairn, and Thornhill.
