  • A great little museum with loads of interesting stuff. OK the planes look a little bit tired, but there is a lot of work going on in the background to make it much better. Some of the exhibits brought...  more »

  • An ongoing development of a perfect visitor attraction, a very reasonable entrance fee and the staff couldn't be more helpful, there is lots to see and do with more on the way with new hangers. A great day out and not to be missed if you are in the area. Well done to all concerned
  • Its a great afternoon out. We went there with my son. Who is big time into planes and he loved it.
  • A good quality day out with the kids middle one loved it couldn't get her out of the canberra she also loved the other aircraft and asked lots of questions. Staff were very helpful.
  • The children from St. Andrew's Nursery were very warmly welcomed to the Aviation Museum. They thoroughly enjoyed looking at a very wide range of aircraft, engines and memorabilia for the past. The facilities are very good and the large room which can also be used for educational purposes is extremely handy on days when the weather is not so good, though that did not stop us exploring. We shall be returning. Thanks again.
  • Visited the aviation museum a couple of years ago, being an aviation enthusiast this place is amazing and so interesting. I spent several hours looking round all the planes and parts (you're even allowed to sit in some of the planes too! :) ) . There was even a 1940's event taking place the day I went, with renditions of war time songs such as Dame Vera Lynn's "We'll meet again". All in all an amazing day and one I'd highly recommend.
