  • Spent Saturday night here camping as part of the Big Wild Sleep out and it was fab.....despite the rain! We've been here before and it's a lovely area with lots to explore and do including pond dipping and a miniature railway. Highly recommended place to visit with lots of history if you start digging. Thanks Baggeridge
  • Went here with my mom, grand daughter and two dogs. Fantastic walk all through the woods before letting gd play on the kids play area, which is huge, dog free, clean and safe. Followed by lunch at the cafè which I found a bit expensive to be honest but we were hungry. Another hour through the woods ended our visit. A beautiful well kept place. We didn't use the car park but I understand there is a charge to park.
  • Fantastic place to take kids or even go for a picnic or a stroll . Loads to do there for every one.
  • Cracking little park, good play ground for the kids, could do with the miniature train being open at weekends though. Nice walks depending on expertise but get a map. Cafe is reasonable, coffee is good and they dont rob you blind
  • It's a good family park, well maintained and kept. It has two large park's and also a sort of go ape climbing frame park. For none family visitors there are great walks covering woodland and lakes to mini waterfalls with an abundance of wildlife to see. Can walk right through the off road trails to himley hall which takes around 30 minutes walking depending on pass. The park has a nice little restaurant with reasonable prices. The car park is fairly big and easy to access however the pay meter is yet to be upgrades to take new pound coins so save some oldies if you plan on visiting.
