  • The visit to the Saint Patrick Center was really interesting! We found particularly the detailed description of his personal relationship with God, which resulted in particular from his letters, very stimulating. The Museum is very attractive, multimedia design and prevents boredom. Unfortunately, we have a point of criticism: in particular at the end of the tour, Saint Patrick is almost idolized. He didn't do this with certainty. Instead, to make that Jesus is the only true God, as Saint Patrick himself, clearly he was portrayed almost as a God. This would have displeased him with security. The Center is worth but in any case a visit!

  • Excellent exhibition helping you sort through layers of myth & legend in order to find the real Patrick. Who incidentally has never actually been sainted by the Roman Catholic Church... so technically he's not a saint in that sense... he's more of a down to earth follower of Jesus making him more accessible to the rest of us following in his footsteps. You'll enjoy this exhibition. Lost count of how many school and tour groups I've brought here... great to hear students and tourist alike say, 'I never knew that about Patrick!' At the start of the presentation try dressing up for the craic... go on! Press all the interactive buttons, try ur best to avoid feeling nauseous during the imax presentation, get lost in the excellent craft/gift/book shop and finish up with a taster, good value snack upstairs in the Restsuraunt. Make sure and visit the grave and Cathedral only a few steps away. Enjoy!
  • We really only made a brief visit to the Saint Patrick Centre so I have to confess my review was based only of a few aspects (primarily the cafe, to be honest). We visited during a break from an all-day tour elsewhere in the area (our guide said the centre served a really good lunch). The food here was absolutely top class! Everything was (or at least seemed to be) home made and really fresh. I had a sausage roll like I've never had before - thick, delicious sausage (full of shredded onion), and warm, crumbly pastry. My fiancĂ©e had beef stew which had the tastiest gravy. We shared a little shortbread biscuit and it took all of my self control to leave without clearing out the biscuit tray! We couldn't stay long but did have a chance to explore the gift shop and the gardens but would go back again given the chance. The staff here were really friendly despite being swamped with visitors at the time.
  • Nice gift shop, cafe nice food but space not utilised in best way for seating.
  • Interesting enough I suppose, probably more suited to bus tours
  • Fascinating place, good cafe and great shop
