  • A very well organised Museum, with some explicit exhibitions, such as the Thomas Hardy's, Archaelogyand, the dinosaurs and the section with the resemplance of 19th century's house. The staff was very friendly and the prices reasonable. I recomend a visit at the Museum to everyone who is interesting in History, Archaeology and social sciences in general. Looking forward to visit it again with my children.
  • Even better now with the designed archeological section. Anybody interested in the history of Dorchester or Dorset shld come here first. Also a very nice coffee shop with reasonably priced drinks and cake. Very quiet and NO children
  • Haven't been in years but it was great the last time I was there. Fingers crossed it's even better.
  • Nice place to take a break while on the way to the Jurassic Coast. Small museum with a nice dinosaur display. Worth visiting as long as you aren't expecting something like the Natural History Museum in London! This is just a nice quaint and quiet museum.
  • Pretty Dry! Went for the Dinosaurs after seeing an advert, kids got very bored quickly - not much for them to do. The dinosaur part was very small, the highlight being a small lego dinosaur! The rest of the museum was OK but did'nt captivate their imagination - very agricultural and old fashioned.
