  • An absolute delight at any time of year. Beautiful old trees, colourful flower beds that are well tended, and a lovely fountain that gives the restful sound of tinkling water, all ensure that I make time to visit the gardens whenever I'm in Dorchester. For the more active there are tennis courts and an outdoor fitness area. Plenty of benches and picnic tables ,so why not pause, rest awhile and enjoy nature in the midst of town.
  • Very pleasant place to sit to have a drink or your lunch. Friendly kiosk staff, play areas, tennis courts, all amidst beautiful well kept flower gardens. There are picnic tables as well as numerous benches scattered throughout. There's also still a bandstand and, of course, the iconic clock. Very pleasantly surprised on first visit so have been back again!!
  • Beautiful park with fantastic play area for the kids and lovely cafe kiosk. There are also toilet facilities, tennis courts, table tennis and an outdoor gym. The gardens are also lovely.
  • Beautiful place. Have lots going on here .Also has a children's play park . Adults exercise area also here .A cafe and toilets witch are lovely and clean .Lots of parking around area .
  • Spent a wonderful sunday afternoon listening to music and having a picnic. Such a beautiful bandstand and lovely to see it being used. The gardens are kept to an impeccable standard and can spend an afternoon wandering through the gardens, sitting admiring the grounds or playing with the kids on the manicured lawns.
