  • A great place for a family day out, we spent about 4 hours there. There's a lot of expansion going on so will be different with each trip, currently building one of the largest polar bear enclosures in Europe (possibly the world?! Don't quote me on that!). Great petting enclosures and staff very friendly. The paths are raised so always a great view of the animals. Recommended for all ages!
  • This is a great local attraction for anyone with South Yorkshire. It's around 10 minutes from DSA Airport. Lions, Tigers, Polar Bears, Baboons and lots of other animals. There is also a play area for kids and a woodland climbing frame. Food is the usual type. Burgers coffee ice cream etc. Prices are quite expensive. Around £50 for 2 adults and 1 child. You can also buy an annual pass for £50pp. It's good for around 3-4 hours of entertainment and then you've done and seen pretty much everything.
  • After many promises to visit finally achieved it today and had a really enjoyable day out. The whole place was spotless - no discarded rubbish to be seen, covered picnic areas and plenty of places to sit and rest weary legs. The animal enclosures were spacious and many of the animals were playing together unlike some other zoos we've been to. And BTW - the hot chocolate I had on arrival was delicious. Husband said the same about his coffee - we told the staff where we were sitting and it was brought out to us. Perhaps it was because it was the last weekend of the school holidays but when we left at 2.30pm people were still pouring in. Looking forward to going again but equipped with."bins" and camera next time.
  • Me,my partner and sister came on 6th August for the Night in Africa. We were there for five hours and enjoyed every bit of it. We had a lovely chilled out day, helped along by great weather. Great seeing all the different animals that we would normally never get to see. Just could not get enough and will definitely be coming again because it leaves you wanting more. Thank you for providing us with such a lovely experience.
  • We visited during one of the African Evenings. Unfortunately we visited on an evening when the British Summer weather decided to have showers. Nevertheless we had a very enjoyable nights. It is obvious the park has built several new enclosures. The animals are all obviously very happy in their enclosures. We are looking forward to returning sometime in the future.
