  • First visit for many years and the change is unbelievable. Didn't think much to it as a garden centre any more. Lots of what can only be described as stalls selling clothing, sweets, and goodness know...  more »
  • Came to Markhams new Sunday market and wow! Everything under one roof (yes a market fully undercover inside and warm) selling everything from fruit & veg, bedding, tools with home & hardware products ...  more »

  • Unique spot this one. All undercover, you can buy goldfish and a tweed jacket as well as all the plants you might need. There's a few vintage furniture shops and a cafe. The staff are very pleasant and good humoured. The whole place is heated via the large shed next door. This is the home of a steam museum with some impressive machines on view. It's a great place to visit particularly when it's miserable outdoors.
  • Hello again interesting all the comments this place is on the way back up give it a chance wait and see it can only get better.
  • Awful place , suppose it ain't bad if you want to buy a snake or reptile of some sort. We got "handed" a guinea pig who was in with four rabbits ,he was very scared and his fur was chewed to bits. Considering the amount of space and there own diets..( guinea pigs have a different diet to rabbits!) I didn't like it at all. Anyhow me and my bloke told the guy and said the guinea pig needs a vet and if he would take it ,he obviously wasn't arsed to do so,so he boxed him up and gave him to us..vet said he shouldn't have been in with rabbits as any experienced cavy or rabbit owner knows. We have had a few from there out of sympathy and I will NEVER go there again.
  • Not a bad selection of plants, good value for money
  • There's better garden centres don't get me wrong but it might be worth popping in, especially if the Christmas fair is on.
