  • Excellent shopping experience. I usually pop in when I have to go in that direction for birthday gifts & cards. I will certainly be looking there for my Christmas gifts. Excellent quality at 1/2 (in many cases) the price. I have found service excellent, staff always polite.
  • The centre in Doncaster was pretty much like all the outlet shopping areas. What I did notice was a well known coffee shop was absolutely scruffy! Plus they sold out of date sandwiches which I haven't seen this particular coffee shop do anywhere else that I have visited. It Costa lot for sitting outside and then not been told by a relative not to use the toilet as The lakeside ones are much cleaner! Never to visit again whilst visiting there. Unless they clean up their act! But other shops were okay. It had a play area for kids and no doubt will have things on for the kids on special occasions. We never spent much time there. When we visited family.
  • One of the smaller 'outlets', but does have a couple of unique selling points. The shops here are the usual outlet stores you find at other locations, with one or 2 notable exceptions. The stand out for me is the Black and Decker outlet, which I haven't seen anywhere else and does have some genuine B&D, Stanley and DeWalt bargains. Check the pricing against Amazon though as not everything is cheaper. The food choices are limited but there are other options next door and nearby. It's also much less busy making getting round easy. Overall it's good, but not great, a few more stores, and more outlets rather than just shops would help.
  • Lakeside is lovely for a stroll round on a Sunday with my mum and dad but would be even better with a few new shops there and more eating places actually in the shopping area when you just want a coffee and a quick snack. There's only Thornton's and Costa where you can actually eat inside especially when the weather's bad and they can get very full so you struggle to find a table so another couple of cafés would be brilliant. Also some more "fashionable" shops would be good as the ones they do have they mostly seem to be aimed towards the older end of the market, such as Roman, Klass, Hotter.
  • A small outlet with a wide variety of shops and free parking. As others have pointed out, sometimes these shops are not cheaper than the high street. There is a children’s indoor and outdoor play area. The outdoor play looks a bit tired, but is covered. Seating is plentiful for those who wish to have a break. However, options for eating out are very limited.
