  • We love visiting here & walking round the gardens, especially when there's a brass band playing. It's a really relaxing place. House is nice to look round as well.

  • took the children to walk round the gardens and do the Halloween hunt,kids enjoyed then we went round the house which is at present under repair but not taking any character out of it

  • This was a fascinating visit. Good presentation of how the house is maintained and repaired. Gardens were lovely and we even got to watch a croquet match!
  • Fantastically knackered in all the right ways, fabulous house with rich history and beautiful gardens that offer a tour and activities. Good cream teas available with a good tea room selection. Visited with a 10 year old and she wasn't bored at all.
  • Very nice gardens, the house is currently under renovation but you can still walk around it
  • Lovely Place, Beautiful grounds with a the benefit of a tea room for a scone and cake, also a park for the children to play in, we spent a good 5hrs there with our 3 children. P Martin
  • Really nice place with cool history and really well maintained gardens and grounds. However due to construction, the house is only open to the public to freely explore from 1 PM on, as before that time is only guided tours of part of the open areas.
