  • Not the cheapest surf lesson (£40) in the world, but at least you are guaranteed a consistant wave. Facilities are good, although the options at the cafe were limited at best. Would agree with several...  more »
  • Much easier learning to surf here than in the sea- predictable waves and not effected by adverse weather. Experienced and helpful tutors. Book in advance, groups of 6 get a private lesson.  more »
  • The concept is really amazing. Surf in the middle of the mountains in a gigantic pool! In short, it's really something to do as a surfer. After the price is still pretty high and there I think at least 1.5 hours of practice to get to have fun. The wave of the "advanced" level is the only one that looks roughly like a wave. Other lower levels are neither more nor less than foam which is quite disappointing. I somewhat regretted the lack of Board for wave making team because that's all quite different from a classical wave. It should actually stay very close to the central pontoon which is not necessarily obvious at first glance... Overall the place is super well maintained everything is nickel and games for children allow the family to wait without getting bored!

  • The only thing that puts me off going frequently and giving it a 5* is the price. £45 for an hour. That aside this place is awesome. The wave garden is great. Surfing in fresh water is a strange experience. The wave is very consistent which is perfect for beginners you also have plenty of time to get back in position for the next wave. The kids water adventure bit looks brilliant. There's also a surf shop, cafe, bar and restaurant on site.
  • Great staff, especially on the courses. I did the beginner course and already can't wait to drive the 3 hours back to do more! The camping pods are great too, warm, quiet and comfy!
  • Good but pricey. Went for a kids lesson which was 2 kids to one instructor. The Groms lesson was good value for the time spent with an instructor and in the water. Facilities are excellent. The day we went was early in the year but weather was excellent and the place still wasn't busy enough to restrict the use of any of the facilities.
  • Fabulous singer/musician performing last night in bar...Cari-Ann...what a voice! Great evening.
  • Fabulous location. Fabulous amenities. Staff helpful and friendly. What's not to like.
