  • Great little park, next door to the Dewsbury crematorium. It is also about a 5 min walk from the local cemetery. The park itself is a great little spot to hang out with the kids in. Has a great little play area with swings /merry go round and a slide! Also they have a basketball court which is caged (perfect for those of us who are not great at keeping the ball in) pro tip can also play football in here! They also have lights in the evening for those days when it gets dark early ! There are also 4 hard court tennis courts here !( Also caged 😉 ) though only two of these have a proper net ! The other two have a metal nets (these are terrible !) Which are so bad !!! A ball literally touches it and it will go flying up ! There's also a great little museum with a lovely cafe inside (perfect for ice cream and cream teas on a Sunday afternoon). These are next to a pond and a lovely well tended garden! The garden is well worth a visit , I think that's my favourite spot in the whole place
  • This place is a hidden gem, it has an outdoor play area for the kids plus outdoor gym equipment for the adults, there are tennis and basketball courts, a garden to walk around, an adventure playground ( for over 8's), a toy museum, picnic area, rugby pitch, and a shop that serves wonderful ice creams. We all love visiting this place. It's also a great place for dog walkers.
  • Good family park - recently renovated lake with ducks & a good cafe open every day 9-6 in summer. Sandy adventure playground aimed at over 8's but popular with younger crowd too open Tuesday's, Thursday's, Friday's & Saturday's. Good 'standard' playground with swings, roundabouts, slides etc. Can get crowded in good weather. Also football pitch, basket ball & tennis courts & rugby pitch. Lots of paths good for cycling/rollerskates/hover boards etc.good ice creams from cafe!
  • Love this place, you can find a quiet spot for yourself loads of things to do for kids even adventure playground, tennis courts (own racket needed) gym, they also have a few events on through the year the next one is Flame this month (I think). Get yourself there 😁
  • Nice park with a keep fit zone.. lovely pond and nice stroll. Has plenty of things to do for the kids. With a playground and adventure playground but for certain ages. Over 8 I think
