  • We visited in the half term break and had a lovely afternoon, so nice to be able to feed the birds and to have a parrot sit on your shoulder ! We were a family of 4, age range from 6 to 83 and we all ...  more »
  • Great place for a few hours. Kids loved the birds at the end. Very interactive. Cafe was a bit expensive.  more »
  • As per all the other reviews: was not sure what to expect. But a decent entry fee and then quite a relaxed meander through the aviaries and woodland areas. There are 2 stops where you can feed/ handle...  more »

  • Fantastic place to go with the family. We've been many times. Great value for money. You can buy food there to feed the birds too. A nice walk around watching the birds and there's opportunities to hold them too. It's better during term time because the birds aren't picked up so much but still great during the holidays as well. A wonderful play area for the kids too :)
  • Great place. Lots of parrots, you can feed them (although they are all so full, they are barely interested in more food you are trying to give to them). Couple of birds say "Hello". Good fun for kids.
  • Always love to visit this location. Such a warm family environment with some beautiful and unique birds with some fun and lively personalities! Definately invite the birds in the open avary to have a perch on your shoulder it's an amazing experience. Lovely play facilities for the children. A lovely cafe. It's an experience for our family on a yearly basis and this time when we visited in warmer weather it was even better as the birds were more active then in colder climates. See you next year guys!!!
  • I love the tropical birdman this is the forth time I have been with my wife and kids. Once you go you will look forward to your next and the next visit you will have the pleasure of handling some amazing birds. Mind some do bite but it's worth it.
  • An amazingly fun day out! This is a lovely place that offers a caring and beautiful home for unwanted and mistreated parrots! The free flight bird path offers you a fantastic animal encounter for as long as you want for an exceptionally cheap price! The experiences and encounters with their beautiful parrots are something that you would pay ridiculously expensive prices for at larger animal sanctuaries/zoos. I travel frequently from Manchester to visit this place and the long journey is always worth it! It's thanks to places like this that many abandoned parrots are given a second chance in life! I love this place!
