  • This museum looks small, but it is full of information. Worthwhile information! We caught ourselves reading almost everything there, but of course you can go thru quicker if you would like. The museum...  more »
  • We spent an hour in here. You will need to pay to visit the Derry part of the museum. It was quite interesting but very hot in here which took away from our enjoyment of the museum.  more »

  • Very informative experience, wasn't crowded and let us really appreciate all the artifacts, video clips and information. Receptionist was very friendly as well, quite a delightful conversation.
  • Great attraction, well laid out over multiple levels. Even the small kids were kept interested.
  • Essential stop for anyone visiting or living in Derry. This FREE museum will easily eat up a whole day, with rich and vibrant Irish culture and history.
  • Great starting point if you want to learn about the City's history. Story starts from early settlement through to the Plantation of Londonderry and on to the growth of the City in the 18th/19th century. Also of great interest is the more contemporary period of the civil rights movement/"the troubles" and where Derry is today in terms of peace and reconciliation. A must for any first time visitor to the City!
  • Vast collection of stories and artifacts, can easily spend hours wandering about.
