  • if i could give it no stars i would! utter disgrace! stopped in for breakfast and grabbed some pancakes and bacon with maple syrup. served it with honey! coffee was cold and drink was watered down beyond recognition! don't recommend!
  • A great pub/restaurant with friendly and helpful bar staff which is family friendly during the day. Their menu provides customers with a variety of tasty food options to choose from, all at a very reasonable price with great portion sizes. The drinks are exceedingly cheap and is a great place to go on a night out or before going to another establishment. The bar has disabled facilities such as a lift and disabled toilets.
  • New owners but staff and management think they r still working for wetherspoons, and not granny annies
  • Good beer, good prices, friendly staff.
  • Was in for breakfast, cutlery was dirty (not the first time). I had ordered a filtered coffee, the coffee pot was empty so mentioned it to one of the staff. 15 minutes later it still hadn't been replaced. The two bar staff were in the kitchen area with their backs to the bar. I called one of them. He walked down and said "It's brewing" - then said, it's done, and said "Calm down you!" - He must have thought he was being funny, but he doesn't know me, and came across and being unprofessional and a bit of an idiot. I spoke to the manager, Jo, about it and her response was "Right", no apology. The bars are about to change hands. I would look at retraining some of their staff.

Where to stay in Derry

Derry, or Londonderry, town center is a lively place to stay. Although the town itself suffered during the Troubles in Northern Ireland, the center stayed safe and has thrived. Consider an inn in the town center, perhaps a building painted with one of the well-known murals. less expensive hotels are available just outside the town's central area, close enough to the main attractions for convenient access.
