Where to stay in Derry

Derry, or Londonderry, town center is a lively place to stay. Although the town itself suffered during the Troubles in Northern Ireland, the center stayed safe and has thrived. Consider an inn in the town center, perhaps a building painted with one of the well-known murals. less expensive hotels are available just outside the town's central area, close enough to the main attractions for convenient access.

  • What it says on the tin,a great asset to the city ,openned up a whole new area for residents, visitors, walks runners etc... don't know how the city did without it
  • For half the price they could have built a a straight bridge that might have been wide enough for pedestrians and cyclist to use at the same time.
  • Great story behind the bridge. One we can all learn from.
  • Nice foot bridge over the Foyle..
  • Lovely symbolic thing to do on New Years Day
