  • WOW I love this place its fantastic out on me walks all over city there so many lovely places to see and go
  • Closed. A one stage this had potential to be a fantastic wee asset to the city, now it is closed and no longer open to the public.
  • I thought this looked like fun, and my hotel had a great picture of the red steam engine. When I got there, I found out it had been PERMANENTLY CLOSED!
  • On the riverside is this old building housing the Railway Museum. Very quiet when we visited, there is a locomotive, a railcar and some coaches plus the usual station & signals hardware, posters, maps etc. Personally, I thought it a bit cramped, and a little dull. It’s a shame that they seem to have no locos in steam or rail trips available.
