Where to stay in Derry

Derry, or Londonderry, town center is a lively place to stay. Although the town itself suffered during the Troubles in Northern Ireland, the center stayed safe and has thrived. Consider an inn in the town center, perhaps a building painted with one of the well-known murals. less expensive hotels are available just outside the town's central area, close enough to the main attractions for convenient access.

  • I only went to the library to use the photocopier The staff were extremely helpful & asked if I had ever used their photocopier before & if not they would help A reasonable charge to copy paperwork & ...  more »
  • Library has a great quiet study section as well as a kids section and often runs events. Great location  more »
  • This was our only internet access on our visit. Sadly it cost one pound for 15 minutes and Facebook took five of those minutes to load. Otherwise it seems like a nice library though.  more »

  • The staff are always very helpful, it's got a g8 selection & if they don't have it they always endeavour to obtain it
