  • Perched on top of a hill one can see for miles in all directions. In off season there is no admission fee and no facilities available but that is fine for a short visit.

  • Free to get in and good views over the surrounding area. Boards to follow around with information on. Parking nearby.
  • Well worth the walk up the hill to get the great views of the surrounding countryside from the top of the battlements. Castle has some interesting interpretation. Whilst much of the walls are a shadow of their former self, there is still a strong sense of what it once was.
  • Fantastic family afternoon out. Great kids activity and an opportunity to walk the town walls. Brilliant.
  • beautiful view from hilltop and able to see the opposite hilltop. castle is good vantage point to see the denbigh town.
  • Castle ruin in a quiet location. Nice drive to get to this location and onward to Ruthin.
