Dawlish Warren Beach reviews
Great day at the beach, be patient and wait for the tide to go out at lunch time and then the beech opens up and loads of space for everyone. more »
Stunning beach in a lovely location. Best holiday place in the UK. The beach is always clean and is perfect for if you have dogs due to the bays which are dog friendly. The people there are lovely... more »
Our hotel was a short walk away from the beach. It was lovely to walk down there and spend time.in the arcade. more »
Pleasant walk along the beach, though less flexible with some of the dune footpaths closed, signwaying not the best
OK so it really entertained my daughter a'd thee parking was good. Its looking much more up to date ten when I last visited. However, the rides arnt good value for money. The walk to the section of beach that was for dogs was a hard trek with a toddler and beach things to carry, I wish I had known there was another route from the carpark before I sat off and had got a big back pack ready.
Excellent clean beach with probably the best facilities I've seen at a UK beach side. It has something for everyone. Wheel chair users may struggle to gain access to the beach near the entrance but further down it could be possible.
The beach really is nice, it's very clean and well kept. There's lots on offer for food and shops and the cafes etc. The only downside is that the beach where dogs are allowed has no ramp, so no disabled access and a real pain with a pushchair so be warned!
Flat, clean and so much space for everyone. The end of the spit is good for watching the boats but beware getting caught there with the tide coming in as some of the walks at the top of the dunes are closed and the beach may be covered in water. Avoid the tacky shops and amusements unless that's your thing!
