Theme Park Water / Amusement Park
Rain or shine, Woodlands Family Theme Park offers family-centered attractions over 36 hectares (90 acres). Eleven themed play zones range from the Sea Monster Zone to the intriguingly named Ninja Zone, where you and your kids can crawl through tree-top bridges, slip down slides, and crawl over climbing walls. Each zone offers attractions for a range of ages, including water rides, bumper cars, and dragon boats. The park is home to around 500 animals, such as meerkats, horses, alpacas, emus, a variety of reptiles, and parrots. Visit the the falconry center to watch a flight show or, if you're lucky, hold an owl on your gloved arm. Buy park tickets online to save money. • Theme park mainly consisting of simple rides and a lot of soft play. My 6yo and 2yo loved the place. Quite hilly but that's describing a lot of Devon I'd guess. It's all built inside a woodland which isn't a surprise given the name. The place has a slightly down at heel feeling in some areas but doesn't detract from the fun. The jumping pillow was hilarious too and worth getting the adults on as well as the kids. One day pass pays for 6 days of visits so good value if you return for another day. Highly recommended.
  • Having been a bit worried this place would be tatty old and unorganised I was very surprised. We stayed on the campsite with friends and from the word go it was amazing. Once you get over the fact that it looks like you are sleeping on concrete..I was assured it's called all weather surface, it's clean, well maintained and simply laid out. Inside the park was nothing short of fun for all . My children smiled and laughed the whole day.. nothing was too much for our 4 year old son. Whilst the water slides looks like they would be too scary they were better then they looked for kids.. brilliant place. Great staff and pleasantly surprised!
  • Something new to do around every corner, we didn't manage to squeeze everything into one day! Really well thought out for families as there's a play area for little ones next to every attraction for older kids so all ages are always occupied. Toilets and refreshments everywhere. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Loved it we'll be back!
  • Great facilities and great fun for all the family. Loads to do. We go with a big group and have loved it the past 5 years
  • Really enjoy woodlands, it's great for all ages and so much to do in one day. Everything is included once your In. We have been many times and always enjoy the place every year. Book online in advance for the best deals - why 4 stars not 5 . Don't tell a hungry man at 4:38 the kitchen closes at 5 and we can't cook you a hotdog as it takes 15 minutes??? I.e. We have cleaned everything now and want to go home.
