  • I visited Bayards Cove Fort while I was in Dartmouth. The fort itself is totally bare, with only the outer walls left standing and in the care of English Heritage. There is a tiny plaque inside the fo...  more »
  • Nothing special although it is nice to see all these features / building looked after. If you are in a wheelchair or mobiliyt scooter - be aware it is a cobbled road way to it.  more »
  • Whilst walking along the river Dart we stumbled upon Bayards Cove Fort. A very interesting piece of history. Nice views of Kingswear from this place.  more »

  • Dartmouth is an excellent destination. Try the Bayard Cove Inn for lunch, super friendly and excellent food and drinks.
  • This is an amazing piece of history, and a great spot to stop and reflex.
  • Is a beautifull place ,we love it .....
  • Would have benefitted from more information. It's free to visit, but there's not much there at all. It provides some nice views across to Kingswear, but that's about it!
