  • Went to see the Open House exhibition which outlines the future path of Dartington HallTrust. However in order to understand the future one should know something of the present and past but the latter...  more »
  • This used to be a centre of craft excellence with a great exhibition programme and design led goods. It’s now taken a dive down market, charges visitors to park and the staff seem rather unhappy about...  more »
  • Nice collection of arty crafty shops. Some great pieces of local art but some a little on the expensive side. A good place for a quick stop and a bite to eat.  more »
  • Being going there regularly over the last 40 years. Since Cranks has pulled out and an introduction of parking fees which are not expensive and are fefundable if you spend over £10. I have seen a steady decline in visitors. It's really not the same. Visited on Sunday last probably will never eat there, the salad bar and the hot counter is gone. Darlington for me has lost it's magic. What a shame.
  • I love visiting Dartington,a very interesting and relaxing place. Lovely vegetarian restaurant plus a cafe. Lovely walk by the river into Totnes, about 1 hr
  • Good range of shops but very pricey! There is a food store, a toy shop, a clothes store, a posh small household accessory shop, a book shop, a kitchen shop and a very expensive art & pottery shop, as well as craft displays and a Dartington glass shop. There are 2 cafes on site, 1 of which is vegetarian. Also lovely walks by the river and a children's play area.
  • Stopped here a couple of times. Interesting shops including Dartington glass. Also a lovely cafe which is dog friendly and excellent toilets.
  • I used to visit here as a small child. It was my aim to return this year... It brought back great memories. A super selection of goods on offer and a lovely cup of tea and a tea cake too...
