  • Not the Scottish national, or the V and A, but quirky, and different! Dalbeattie as a main road that most just shoot along on the way to somewhere else. STOP. This museum is gem. Will take you 15 mins to wander around, or 5 hours if you get chatting to the curator. A wealth of local knowledge and history. Enjoy!
  • Excellent little museum that is stuffed to the rafters with curios and oddities. Doesn't look much from the outside but take some time and visit this hidden little gem.
  • Little shop of wonders. Excellent visit with excellect helpful voulteer service. Ian was most informative and enthusiatic man i have ever met. Playing and touching the exhibits was an experience we will treasure. Keep the place going you locals
  • excellent service by a young man that knows his trade, good advice and prices. parking facilities are excellent and close at hand, there is usually a good range of livestock on sale together with the necessary equipment.
