We had a family day out with our two kids ages 8 and 2 years. It was smaller than I thought and I wouldn't say a farm, it only had a few goats at the entrance, guinea pigs and the pigs you see when yo... more »

Good day out with young family. Plenty to do. Indoor play centre has improved recently. Absolutely packed - everyone using their IT IS ON voucher before they expired. Cafe can easily get busy, food is... more »

We had a marvelous visit and a sunny day to boot! Lots for the kids to do and plenty of space to run around. Masses of picnic tables. Lovely clean toilets. Staff friendly and helpful. The cafe was ver... more »
Good place to take the kids. You could easily spend a couple of hours here (maybe more) Go karts for different ages (track not too difficult). Two giant jellybean bouncers (one is toddlers only one). Nice wee park area with lots of sand. My kids loved the indoor play area. Pig race was different but fun.
Lovely afternoon. We visit glenrothes every year from Newcastle and always have a visit to muddy boots. Staff and food are lovely and my little girl loves the bouncing pillows. See you next year x
Just been here today and would think the play area is more suited to the warmer weather... Toilets were cold but very clean at the same time. Cafe food was really nice...got nachos.sandwich..2 soups..kids ham sandwich..kids apple juice. Pot of tea for 2 and another for 1 and the bill was just under £29 so really cant complain at all for that..cafe is very nice and has a nice log fire for a centre piece. If i was to go back with children i would go in the warmer weather which i will do...
Everytime we go to muddy boots we have a great time. This time was for my 9 year old sons birthday party and he and his friends had the best fun. The amenities are clean and tidy and suitable for small kids to adults. The various activity areas are well spread out so it never seems too busy. I would highly recommend a trip here.
It was ok! The cafe was nice and very pleasant atomsphere, they had a power cut while there and even though they couldn't do anything our food arrived (ordered cold food) they explained and they got on as best as possible.. the table next from there moaning seemed to have no idea what was going on. The play area was fine a bit expensive for what was there but it was nice, kids enjoyed it which important thing. Farm shop was typical farm/garden centre shop all the 'farm produce' you would expect at Waitrose prices ;). It wasn't bad on a sunny day be aware it will be busy.
