  • Lots of hills nice old buildings nice views when the fog lifted and lunch in a nice old pub with friendly staff
  • The town can be visited along with a tour of the Abbey. It is a small ancient town with low-rise buildings, which pretty well preserved. It is pleasant to walk on it, you can go to the cosy pubs, drink beer.

  • Fantastic place. Very old and lots of history. The palace is a great place to visit as is the old baby. Very atmospheric
  • Great example of a early Scots village. Walk round Preston Island is also recommended. Nice views down to Forth Bridges from headland. Well preserved ruins of Salt producing industry also interesting.
  • It is simply and time warp little village... So beautiful
  • Bit quiet if you like that sort of thing. Nice view of the industrial polluting Grangemouth and Longannet powerstation ruining the Scottish scenery.
  • Beautiful village. Really nice people. Lovely beach front.
