  • We saw a leaflet about the Iron Age fort at Castell Henllys and decided to visit, it turned out to be the highlight of our trip to Pembrokeshire. For just £5 per adult, you are catapulted back to the ...  read more »
  • We cane across this attraction by accident but it was quite interesting to follow the walk around the path with various items to look at. It was quite expensive for what it was though. We didnt do the...  read more »
  • We had a great time here late August 2016. My son really enjoyed taking off his shoes and experiencing walking barefoot on the different surfaces, then washing his feet in the river. He later saw shoe...  read more »
  • Great fun for a different dog walk. I used their off road mobility scooter too which made it even more fun! The round houses are nice to see, they have been recreated really well, and you can chat to the person in charge or just wander round. The dogs enjoyed meeting pigs and sheep through the fence, even if one of the sheep decided he really didn't like our spaniel, and was threatening him. The river walk was nice, and would be great for kids with the barefoot trail where you have different surfaces to walk on, and the dogs liked being able to drink from the river at the end. Not somewhere to spend all day, but a good hours wander on a nice day on the way to other attractions.
  • Five stars. From the facepainting to the informative guide, to the hidden well and the carvings, to the pigs and reconstructed houses, everything is top class and enjoyable.
  • Recreated Iron Age roundhouses in a beautiful rural setting. The little visitor centre with modern interpretation and cafe is a recent addition. We are regular visitors, and the activity days with costumes staff running activities such as bread making, weaving, etc definitely help to bring the site alive for us and our children!
  • Great fun especially for young children.
  • Great afternoon for all
