  • Always a great place to visit. Me and my girlfriend try to visit each time we arein matlock to see this increadable book store. Anything and everything you want usually stacked in a corner but yet somehow the staff know where every book is. The cafe has excellent food and service but its only vegan food on the menu but if that doenst bother you its all good stuff.
  • Fabulous bookshop, friendly staff, lots to discover in secret hidey holes. Lots of atmosphere and great veggie cafe. A real treat.
  • This is a great book shop which encourages you to have a lazy few hours searching for books in the amazing shop with tonnes of rooms character and charms. Its one of the few veggie places in derbyshire as well. The food is good, and vegans can find some food as well. It can be a bit full and slow on the service so try and head for an early or late lunch. It also does a lot of second hand books. This is definitely a shop which should be in diagon alley!
  • Simply the best bookshop in the country. Wandering round the rooms is a joy, the peaceful atmosphere, the tempting smells of fresh coffee and food drifting from the cafe. I was astonished once to see grape vines complete with bunches of grapes hanging from the ceiling of one of the rooms!
  • The sort of Aladdin's cave bookshop you wished was everywhere, nice vegan cafe too.
