  • We were a little disappointed with the mills however this is a function of how it was when we visited. The mill is technically open until 5 on a Sunday, but when we showed up at 3.30 the ticket office had closed and all of the tours had finished. The quality of the displays is very good so I do not doubt that this is a good day out for the whole family, but just make sure the exhibits are actually attended and open at the time of day you want to visit.
  • Not sure what I expected but found the place a bit disappointing so didn't stay. Perhaps better if you take the tour
  • Interesting place to visit. Nice cafe but dogs not invited but as weather fine sat outside
  • Well worth a visit. Something of a work in progress. Staff are friendly, helpful and well-informed.
  • Very interesting place with great sense of history attached to it. The stretch of the Cromford Canal from Cromford Wharf To High Peak Junction is also a nice walk and so peaceful.
