  • This living museum is, for the most part, free to visit although some of the houses require tickets to enter. It's also home to a flock of Loaghtan sheep, a breed local to the Isle of Man. It's on the way to the Sound at the southern tip of the island so a visit to both can be combined on the same trip. The tea rooms are small but they're worth a visit to try out bonnag, a type of cake unique to the Isle of Man. And if you're lucky, you may catch a glimpse of a tail-less Manx cat. It's very photographic and I love walking around this place.
