  • I used to go to this gym but i would say it's pricy and often busy so it's difficult to do proper exercise. At the gym some machines were old and broken. One good thing is that gym is really big!
  • So we visited here today with the sole intent of using the bigger pool for my son to practice his swimming. He lacks the confidence to swim without his jacket and so uses it without the floats. Upon g...  more »

  • Good facilities but poor swimming lesson instruction. Too many teacher changes with very varied experience levels. Since going private our children are learning faster as well as unlearning bad habits taught at k2. Do yourself a favour and avoid their swimming lessons. Look elsewhere because private lessons cost a fraction more.
  • I was doubtful after reading reviews, but kids aged 11,9 and 4 begged me to go swimming here****HAD A WONDERFUL TIME!!!! *** wonderful facilities for kids including family changing area, lots of lifeguards on duty, Grandma who's not in best of health watched from cafe, lovely staff checked on her offering drinks etc, lifeguard advised my nieces weren't strong enough swimmers for deep pool (I've now enquired for lessons here) GO AND HAVE FUN, WE DID !!!!!
  • It has always had poor customer service. It began its life as a council run sport facility, so the staff who people and fellow workers found it difficult to work with, may have been seconded to this outpost. I have complained, in writing, 3 times about the lack of compassion and ignorance of staff. Each time I had a meeting and each time nothing was done. I changed membership. The Gym was full of pleasant, helpful staff. The problem I encountered was not with the gym staff but with the rude Gestapo type staff who operate the front desk. First impressions do make a difference, so when you a greeted by a miserable looking old bag who looks like she would gladly shoot you, then you are left feeling slightly reluctant to return to the complex. I used to love going to the gym, but after I made the management aware that certain members of front of house staff were rude to me and other members of the public, the staff increased their efforts to accommodate me by being even more rude and offensive. I would like to return but the greeting as soon as you walk in the complex is not entirely welcoming. If I may make a suggestion that front of house staff smile and generally ask how you are, instead of gurning, while looking like distempered ridden hound licking urine from poison ivy, perhaps if they cracked their faces with a smile every now and then, it may help. The 9 stages of Dante's Inferno would be more pleasurable than passing through the front of house.
  • Although K2 has got an amazing swimming pool and rock climbing center it has not go much else so if you go to K2 and you have not booked the rock climbing center I would advise you to stay in the pool or the diving pool for as long as you can. Although you can make a day out of K2.🙂
