I have played here quite a few times, the site layout is quite good. There is very little space between different fields so you could get hit by stray paint while you are waiting for a game to finish on one field. The actual layout of the fields are quite well thought out as they are on the small side to ensure that the game play is quick and there is very little chance to sit and long ball each other. The buildings are well made and well placed to ensure there is cover but you have to work at it to stay in the cover when the other side is attacking. Some fields do get very muddy when it rains, so bringing a spare pair of shoes along if definitely worth it to ensure you have dry feet in the rainy season. But that is all part of paintballing. The Staff are friendly and make you feel at ease, they also will try and get you up and shooting by giving you time checks during your games. The level of Marshalling is quite good, considering the young age of some of the marshals they come across professional. One warning though the site uses Co2 which can play havoc with some markers. The paint can be a bit on the pricey side of things, as we noticed this go up each time we played on the site. Which is a shame as in the end that was the main reason we stopped using the site. There is the usual arsenal of pyrotechnics that you expect at a paintball site, these are reasonably priced for the site. The equipment is quite modern and the masks are more like a helmet that give protection for much of the full head, which is a bit of a relief for the first timers playing. There is also foam body armour, that you can wear it doesn’t stop you getting hit but it does stop some of the pain when you get hit. Sadly due to the site being a franchise it does seemed to be money orientated, as in you pay for an upgraded marker that makes you fire more paint than the basic markers. There is a Marshall dry firing one of the upgraded guns as the people are walking in purely to get the kids interested in renting one of the guns, it doesn’t help that they look like M16’s either.
This was my first ever paintball experience and unless other places are vastly better it will definitely be my last. My party booked this after receiving it as a christmas present (which already cost well over £100) and so were expecting most things to be paid for already. Oh how wrong we were. We were pretty much told immediately that the paintballs that came with our package would barely last through the first game and we had 8 separate games to play through the day. Luckily, a bag of 500 paintballs (which can be purchased for under a tenner online) were charged at the unbelievably fair price of just THIRTY FIVE POUNDS. Needless to say we spent almost £200 on paintballs (there were four of us). Next we were split into "fair" teams (25 on our team, 35 on theirs), and showed to the game areas, which were all roughly the size of an average back garden, and CLEARLY large enough to accommodate over 50 people shooting paintballs at eachother. The unfair teams and tiny playing fields made all the games totally pointless as your entire team was wiped out almost immediately, especially as no-one actually "dies" when they are shot and just carry on playing, luckily attempting to talk the marshals resulted in being completely ignored. The only times they showed any effort in talking to the public was when they were barking out orders to us like 6 year olds or literally yelling at people when they got hit by a stray paintball (you'd think this would be an occupational hazard, apparently not). My gun broke twice during games and rather than fetching me a working gun they simply told me to sit out the next game (this was doubley annoying as I had forked out an extra £10 to use a "better" gun). The tea and coffee making facilities consisted of an urn capable of holding about 6 pints of liquid and subsequently run out after the first break. I could go on but you get the jist. I would strongly avoid this place. I could literally of bought me and my friends a paintball gun each online and had more fun in my back garden. And saved a few hundred quid. The shop sold smoke bombs (also massively over-priced) although they did come with the added benefit of resulting in the marshals stopping the game to remove them. So I'm not quite sure what the point of them was. I would also like to take this opportunity to complain about a marshal called Pete (if I remember his name correctly) in the hope his employers will see this. He is literally one of the rudest people I have ever met and a terrible representative of your company. Never again.
I have been to this site more times than I can remember. Not once have I been left disappointed with the great service that the staff provide. Very friendly team that made sure everything was organised and ready to go within 5 minutes of getting back from a game. I would deffinatley recommend to anyone considering going.

What a wonderful experience! The children had a blast time and almost did not want to go home. Lovely flair, very busy and really cool. The staff were just fantastic, very friendly and making sure you are alright and offering free hot drinks. Was a great and memorable day for my son's birthday. We are visiting again.
I have been here twice and had the best days. Both times were for friends' birthdays and both were well-managed; we knew exactly what to do and had a lot of tactical help from the marshals. Can't wait until next time!
