  • This is excellent walking country. Located between Shropshire and Ludlow. The roads twist and turn making them favourites with bikers, Every turn of the journey brings an unexpected view of the hills....  more »
  • A lot of spaces. A lot of walking trails and great views. It is worth to bring good Footwear, drinking water, and something warm to wear. On the paths you encounter sheep or horses.

  • It's an area of outstanding natural beauty. There's little more to say. If you like this kind of thing, you'll love it. If not, it won't be for you. Spectacular views and quite peaceful, if you avoid the popular places. Great gliding club!
  • My wife and I are great fans of the shuttle bus. Whether for a short journey or the complete tour, it is a wonderful way to see the hills and the scenery as it changes throughout the shuttle season. The heather was wonderful this year. Also there is lots to see and do along the way whether it's eating at Bridges or the Bog Centre or the many points of interest to explore. Long may it continue.
  • I seriously thought about taking a star off for the ride up and down the side of the hill - but I guess I'm just being a baby. 😀 Some may like that! But once to the top the views are spectacular. The horses roam free and gambol in the heather. It's a bit muddy so wear boots.
  • Blazing Bikes is a good place south of Long Mynd for the start of a natural MTB ride. Drop in and say hi as they are a friendly bunch.
  • Loved the friendly folk and great food at th local pub, The Stiperstones Inn. The Beach House was perfect, cosy and quaint accommodation with lovely hosts Genevieve and Alan.
