Relax and watch the waves at Crantock Beach, a quiet sandy stretch sheltered by dunes on the River Gannel estuary. Forming a part of the expanse between Pentire and West Pentire headlands, the beach also features high cliffs at the southern end, which provide shelter from the wind and calm waters for children and less experienced swimmers. Elsewhere ample waves set the scene for the onsite surf school. Facilities include restrooms, a snack stand, and umbrella rentals.
