  • A beautiful country house with a good number of fine rooms open to visitors. There are guides in the rooms who are pleasant and keen to help you get the most from your visit. The tea room is very good with delicious cakes on offer (pity the jam is a cheap packet product when the scones and cream are first class). The gardens are interesting and attractive to walk around. Recommended for an afternoon out.
  • Deene Park - hard to get into because of the schedule, but worth it! The Great Hall is amazing, and it is almost exactly as it was that rainy Elizabethan night when Queen Elizabeth I knocked on the door, and asked to stay. • Great place to enjoy the English countryside. Large spacious grounds, onsite restaurant, gift shop and historically documented.
  • Wonderfully warm welcome from owner himself, delightful wife and charming son. House itself warm on a chilly spring day, thanks to newly installed biomass boiler. So much history to absorb in a home that has played a quietly assured part in English life. We wish the newly invigorated Deene Park the very best and will be back.
  • A great place to get aquainted with the history. Have fun in the magnificent park or diner a cafe ;)
