  • Extensive Roman remains to explore. Excellent museum with interactive display of Corbridge hoard (Roman armour). Audio guide available. English Heritage maintained site.
  • Quite a small location but good.
  • Great! A good place to visit
  • A great example of the Roman era in the north of England
  • The site of the fort is relatively small, the excavations are decent, but there is a small informative museum on site. We went there on a English Heritage demonstration day that had live exhibitions of gladiators and legionnaires, stalls with various faces of roman life and the staff were extremely well informed and enthusiastic. So without the special open day, there is not much to see compared to bigger sites, but still worth the visit.
