  • Interesting place and very unusual as it is so well preserved. The chap in the visitor centre was helpful and knowledgeable too. A good way to spend an hour

  • We happened to go on a day with a medieval reenactment. This made it very interesting. Any other time this place would be a bit bare
  • Nice little place for a visit , friendly staff.
  • A great castle with a beautiful orchard, in which we ate our lunch.
  • Ridiculous to pay any money for this castle. It is just an empty shell. There is nothing to see but an empty house.
  • Great, proper, castle. Good family day out.
