  • This place is just a perfect nature...I always love it here. It is safe even for an evening walk though I wish the council could have built some lighted post around...It's totally dark at night and could even hear the owls...Some fishing guys stay overnight around the lake. There is also a fantastic Indian restaurant within...and yes! Good coffee at the entrance:)
  • Lovely place to walk round with the kids. They love climbing in and around the bushes and trees...but they do get messy. We normally grab an ice cream on the way back too.
  • Wonderful walks for us and 2 dogs but do wish that children with scooters were more careful as not all us oldies are as nimble as we would like to be and it isn't too comfy having a scootering child crash into you! Waterfowl lovely, plants very interesting, trees fascinating and to date never witnessed any unpleasantness between dogs. All in all an excellent place to while away a few hours.
  • Great country park. Perfect for fishing. Perfect for a relaxing walk. Run or bike ride.. brilliant water sports club for all ages. A dog swimming are and a couple of nice little beach areas. Great place.
  • It was a great family day out. We had a nice walk around the lake then hired a canoe and spent a lovely couple of hours there.
