  • A lovely part of Cheshire if not all of England. Enjoyed a picnic in the park then a walk around the lake. Tried some canoeing, this is a wonderful country park.  more »

  • Easy access walk with lovely views, routes out for other walks. Usually a coffee van at popular times. Free parking (donations encouraged). Toilet facilities.
  • Great place very popular with dog walkers. Pavemented footpath around lake approx 20mins lwalk. Large park but small parking area with a good quality coffee / ice cream vendor.
  • Very nice place, great walk around the lake and open spaces for children. Part of the walk (the outside one not lakeside) is difficult to navigate with rough terrain and narrow paths but all in all a nice place.
  • Beautiful 1 mile circular walk/run. Ideal for a short walk/ scooter ride with toddlers. Refreshments van on site.
  • A great country park with the added extra of mine tours and a little steam railway line. The kids love Santa and steam at Christmas. If you have trouble walking though the park is very hilly so possibly best to be avoided.
