  • Beach had soft golden brown sands. Beautiful renovated ‘Victorian Pier’. Pastel peach colour and great murals leading to the pier from town centre.

  • Excellent clean beach with beach side lay-by parking which is Pay and display. Found free parking with some large motor home/van near the slip way. Appears to be used for passenger pickup from Colwyn Bay railway station. Lots of seating available, good access to the sand via shallow steps many with hand rails. Good sand for sand castle building. Lovely place to spend a few hours.
  • A very pleasant coastline with some good beaches in this area. The town is well situated for discovering this fascinating part of Wales.
  • Lovely sandy beach great for the dog to run about on. Parking 50p per hour, right next to it which I think in season would get very full. On a spring Saturday not many cars. Facilities at opposite ends from the restaurant which unfortunately had stopped serving takeaway coffee when we got there so get there before 4
  • Another beach I stopped off at on my journey across the country. It was a big beach and looked really nice, but I didn't stay long. It looked like a good place to bring children for a day out.
  • As Beach goes, nice and clean. Take your picnic and set up for the day. Car parking is cheap, free before 10:00 and after 16:00.
