  • Nice place to go for a walk with children or dogs. Play area for children and a nice cafe for adults. Haven't used it yet but there is a bookable BBQ area. A little expensive to park for a short time but reasonable for a full day visit.
  • Great set up in the woods that makes for a fun day out. Lots of stuff going on to keep it varied and interesting, so you can keep going back with the kids. Even stays fun in the rain.
  • Great place to visit - a well marked trail to follow and not too taxing! Maps can be purchased from the cafe for £1 and no entry fee for the trail - can't say fairer than that! All dog friendly but no bins on the trail - be prepared to carry your bags back to the entrance where you'll find a bin to dispose of them :)
  • Great day out! We travelled from Dorstone, which 1 hour away and it definitely didn't disappoint. Loved the forest trail and the impressive cathedral window sculpture. Make sure you pick up your map from the cafe £1. Parking £3, bargain for a full day out!
  • An inspirational walk through the forest where every so often you come upon unexpected objects such as a giant stained glass window and giant sculptures. Unfortunately the giant's chair has gone due to Health & Safety concerns.
