  • Why are there not more bowling places like this?! We went on a Thursday, paid £10 each and got 2 games, a big sharing platter and a drink of our choice each which were bought to our lane for us, you can't get better than that. The bowling place itself is actually quite modern and well done up inside, with 4 pool tables and some arcades to play on and a restaurant/bar with seating area. It was quite busy when we went but there was no shortage of bowling balls, you can wear your own shoes as well which was good.
  • Staff are very polite and friendly, awesome UV lighting to light up your clothes, along with flashing lights. Plus, you get free parking too by filling in the iPad info at the front counter. They have some arcade games, but a fair amount of them don't seem to be working. Really lovely place to take the family though. Unlike some other bowling alleys, you get the choice to wear your own shoes, too.
  • Staff: lovely and polite, served with a smile! Food: rather expensive, £2.80 for a packet of minstrels, also I do not believe they do gluten free food (for any fellow coeliacs who would like to know). Make sure bring your own snacks! Vending machines: tasty Most importantly: bowling and arcade was the best! Enjoyed it very much, played the Aliens (based on franchise) arcade game and air hockey with a friend after we finished our bowling game and left happily.
  • Awesome UV light and some good deals on certain days. Bar and food available and mini arcade with pool tables. Great for a fun night.
  • Had a good time with friends but this place needs updating.

Where to stay in Colchester

A short train ride from London, Colchester is a university and working town. Hotels in the town center are near the main attractions, but for less expensive lodging consider a room near the university campus, which is situated in a tree-filled parkland.
