  • Many stalls in this redundant old church. Just wander around the building and see the wide range of stalls; vintage clothing, old vinyl records and new goods from Morocco are just some of the things o...  more »
  • Nothing exciting I'm afraid. Could be so much more in such a unique location. Disappointing. Many of the stalls/tables were tatty and not what I would call vintage or interesting. Shame.
  • Of course, it's an old, now redundant church so it's bound to be cold inside, but you can help yourself to a nice redly warm heater and settle down to a good cuppa and delightfully fresh scone. The pl...  more »

  • Fell in love with it from the first moment, although, I have to say, I prefer to sit outside when I'm there and take in the view. Soooo relaxing. I'm not impressed with the coffee, really, but I appreciate everything else. The hot chocolate is great.
  • Amazing cafe, doing amazing work. This is a MUST visit in Colchester if you want a break and a cuppa.
  • Jolly good show.
  • Excellent little cafe and indoor vintage market. Run by a social enterprise that helps unemployed young people access training, employment and mentoring. Has evening and special events. Also serves Tapas. Heritage site with plenty to learn about Colchester's rich history with connections to Nelson and Dr William Gilberd (also known as William Gilbert), the "father of electricity and magnetism" and medical advisor to Queen Elizabeth I. Indoor market has several traders providing an eclectic selection of ethnic products (Moroccan and Nepalese), vintage clothing, furniture, jewellery, vinyl, books and much more.
  • Great atmospheric old church. Indoor market. Nice food & staff. Well worth visiting.
