  • I've started to bring my children back to go bananas since it has been under new ownership it's now very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is good too. Best in door play area in the area by far.
  • An amazing place to take the kids. There's even a Tiny Tots Town area for kids under 5, too! There's a climbing wall which is kept safe and supervised and the staff encourage the kids and give them lots of praise and confidence. The place is kept tidy and hazard free. Amazing service and the most polite and enthusiastic staff you can imagine!
  • Have been coming to Go Bananas for a number of years and have always been impressed. The cafe serves a wide range of food and drink so lots to choose from. The play centre equipment is good as there are two separate areas for the little ones/big kids. While the big kids do try to play in tiny town at times; the staff are always happy to ask them to go back to the little bit if they get too boisterous when i've asked. The staff are friendly and smiley and seem to be happy to help. I prefer going in the morning or late afternoon when it tends to be quieter but it lets the kids burn off energy so all to the good. My younger brother has also had several laser parties there over the years in the evening which was funny to watch and he seemed to enjoy himself; the big kid that he is.
  • Excellent play centre with friendly staff. Loved the new equipment as hadn't visited for a while. It has given the centre a new look. My little one loved the interactive room in Tiny Town. Centre clean & snack lunch was good value. Will visit again soon & looking at booking a party for us adults to have some fun too!!
  • Great place for the kids. Clean and great choice of equipment for my youngest 3 and eldest 7.

Where to stay in Colchester

A short train ride from London, Colchester is a university and working town. Hotels in the town center are near the main attractions, but for less expensive lodging consider a room near the university campus, which is situated in a tree-filled parkland.
